I could never play sports. I would always be fighting with the coach. And I physically wouldn’t be able to do very much, at least for the first few weeks. And I go by the idea that it’s important to preserve one’s body. While exercise is important, it’s also important to not ruin your body by physical rigor. Take Hugh Hefner as an example. He’s never worked a day in his life, and he’s extremely fit at the age of 80 something.

I could say something dirty, but I won’t.

I got into arguments today.

Say it anyway. Here on CC, we’re free speech advocates, no matter what the mods tell you.

The spontaneity has been lost. No use.

Many, many arguments.

No, Hugh Hefner has done a lot.

And I went to the gym for an hour and a half and I just got back. So, no preserving one’s body for me.

I meant physical work. There is a difference. I noticed when I switched jobs. When I come home from my office job, I’m not tired at all. When I used to come home from the meat market, I was almost dead after working only a few hours. But at the office, I don’t have to run around with heavy boxes, and I no longer suffer from dishwasher’s elbow.

Heh. Physical work.

My new favorite person is Capers C Funnye, Jr.

And I go by the idea that it’s important to preserve one’s body.

Lol, JB, you’re ridiculous. No one has ever been worse off because they exercise too much. You do realize that if you don’t use your muscles your body breaks them down? To “preserve one’s body” you have to work out.

I did cleans for the first time in a month and my shoulders are killing me.

I might have homework.

I have a strong upper body so I usually don’t feel sore after any kind of arm/shoulder workout, but my legs are reeeeally weak.

Pssh. Strong upper body. Canada is large but sparse.

Ooh.

Aah, I love squats. My legs are way stronger than my upper body because surprisingly, how hard you can throw a ball is pretty much dependent on hip, leg and core strength. Ever since I stopped playing basketball my upper body strength has been on the decline. I’m not even allowed to bench after about February, it tightens up your rotator cuff/chest and leads to injuries.

I am going to get a snack. When I come back, I expect this conversation to become infinitely less boring.

No, wait Snoop! I was just about to give you my entire workout plan for the next six months!

I cried yesterday. Today I asked a girl if she would get me an Obama pin.

I cried, all the old black people around me cried, it was moving. Then I stood in the most packed train I’ve ever seen.

Where were you at?

My hardcore republican parents still don’t know I like Obama. I wonder how long I’ll last.

I can only imagine how amazing that was, Mike.

Grant Park, like duh. The non-ticket part.

Yeah, yak, it was pretty incredible. Definitely something I’ll always remember.

Jesus.

I’ll never forget. Jon Stewart told me history.
