<p>It’s fluid. Besides Chicago I’ve got Rochester, Pomona, Rice, Brandeis, Case Western, Barnard, and Harvard for my mother. It means so much to her.</p>
<p>Beta Club is such a freaking bureaucracy. I volunteer over the summer but I won’t get Beta points because it’s an outside project. So because the sponsor didn’t think of it, I’m screwed. I definitely won’t try for a leadership position there. Which means I’ll have leadership positions nowhere. I’m doubly screwed.</p>
<p>Student government. </p>
<p>I wish I would’ve done it just for junior year. Being “involved” senior year is the biggest waste of time. For real.</p>
<p>Don’t even get me started on student government here. Don’t. Even. Maybe if I’m just super awesome at what I do and have a bajillion volunteer hours. Yes. Yes. Don’t bring me down.</p>
<p>What do you think of my list?</p>
<p>They’re all very serious. I’ve heard the word “intense” associated with most of them.</p>
<p>But I would take intense over a bigass, sports-obsessed school any day.</p>
<p>And my plan is foolproof. Foolproof. After this summer I’ll have approximately 120 hours. YES.</p>

<p>I really, really suck at liking volunteerism. But! This weekend, I’m going to put on a fluorescent-orange hat and clean up a highway. For serious.</p>
<p>I think, if I have to and/or feel like it, I’ll lead in NHS or something. All they do are highway cleanups. </p>
<p>Volunteering is fun, if there are other people my age there. It’s pretty cool.</p>
