<p>Amen Spiders05! I have been reading NYSmiles posts for over two years now and anyone can see right through this picture. I do find it sort of an odd obsession to be checking out the school newspaper as often as he does, considering he is not an alum nor does he have any children at UR. Coy, yes. But we’re smarter than that!!! PAVenturer, we have chatted a bit before about UR and I am so happy your daughter loves it. I hope she loves her classes. That is the best part of the news we hear from our daughter…she absolutely loves the subjects and the professors. The day they got a “slot” for their own radio show was so exciting for them! We visited last week with our second child (he’s a senior in HS) and it was the opening dedication to the Weinstein Int’l Center. I was just blown away by the building. We were on campus with a tour guide and walked into Jeter (Science building, I believe) and there was our daughter, sitting at a table, work everywhere, studying! She couldn’t have set that up if she tried, LOL. She was obviously embarrassed when in the middle of the tour she was cheerfully greeted by her father, brother, and me. 
BTW, her “take” on the vandalism etc is that it is rumored to be a group from outside campus. She says she no longer walks home from the library alone, nor do others, and she takes advantage of the shuttle. If there are two or more, they walk. She states she still feels very, very safe.
