Not really. If you poll most workers across many industries you will find job dissatisfaction for a variety of reasons.
UT had record applications last year - over 90k with the largest increase (24%) coming from out of state applicants…many applicants seeking the “public ivies” over traditional ivies, the SEC schools, supposedly greener grass in red states away from the blue state messes/failed policies/weekly protest mentality.
Now when student applications at UT actually drop in number, raise a flag and ask why. It’s not happening. Majors that are antiquated or fall out of popularity will be replaced by blossoming majors like robotics and civic leadership. Just the nature of things to evolve, grow, and/or change.
