<p>I saw the movie last night. The theater was packed to capacity, and for two and a half hours, people were spellbound - you could hear a pin drop. I have to admit, I thought they did a pretty good adaptation of the book, and I liked the special effects when they did the flashbacks.</p>
<p>I do agree that there was a total lack of realism to the pacing of the plot, but then again it is a work of fantasy and fiction. And as such, it was easy entertainment.</p>
