Wish we had a cat as well, but S1 has severe allergies to them.

I agree! Love looking at the furry family members. Awww.

No cats for us. DH “claims” he’s allergic. He also claims that the 2 shown here are our last (this pic is about 4 1/2 years old). We’ll see about that…

The dogs are so cute!! We have never had cats and both DH and S2 are allergic to cats so probably never will. :o3

The only photos I have of the cats are them sleeping>>>>>>>>>

Yours do other things???

I also love seeing all the various furry critters. Only dogs here. This is our second and definitely our last. But she’s just a pup, so hopefully we’ll have many good companion years ahead. We look forward to having grandpuppies some day.

Okay, I am going to join the pack and change my avatar to my golden girl who just died.

Condolences, Consolation.

Here’s my boy. I’ll give the cat equal time, but he seems more appropriate with the weather we’re having now.

My condolences also, Consolation. Someone asked me about my Lab today (died in October) and I teared up. STILL…:(

As far as dogs vs. cats, I see no reason to choose. I have one of each!

My cat sleeps a lot, but she always makes time to run around in a manic fashion upstairs, but only while we are downstairs. If often happens after I’ve fed her dry food when she was expecting canned…

Sorry to hear about your pup, Consolation.

Consolation, I’m sorry about your pup, as well as yours, Nrdsb4.

I must mention, though, Consolation: That dog has the longest paws I’ve ever seen!!

I’m so sorry, Consolation and Nrdsb4. I admit I tear up sometimes when I think about my pups that passed years ago! (But I’m one that weeps at the ASPCA commercials).

Our last cat died about 6 years ago and we never adopted another- I went and looked through our old pics of him and yup! Sleeping in ALL of them, except one where he is getting a bath and he is NOT happy.

ETA: I just changed the picture to the giant dog I sometimes talk about that passed away a few years ago. For reference, the trunk behind her is 6 ft by 2.5 ft and the box in front of her is about 2.5-3 ft long lol.

One of each here.

VeryHappy, she had perfectly normal paws. In fact, they are only partly in the picture. She was lying on the edge of her (huge) bed, with her elbows on the floor. Those are her forelegs, extended in front of her. You can see the shaved patches for IVs for her surgery…this picture was taken in early January last year, shortly after her first lumps were removed. It must be an optical illusion. She had her conformation flaws, but that was not one of them!
Sally had a very soulful face. I like this picture because it was one of the few where she actually looked into the camera. She was shy, and would almost always turn her head away.

She looks very calm and peaceful. Handsome girl.

A recent study gets closer to confirming what we already knew:

Took me a bit to figure out how to get a photo associated with my name, but here are my beasts.

Nice, dmd77. Poodles??

Budweiser nails it again.
Also- who is ready for the REAL show: PUPPY BOWL!

I just watched the puppy commercial too. Unbelievably adorable. And I’m not only talking about the puppy. Let us just say that I am a fan of the stable guy. :D
