<p>Oh boy – this has been discussed often on this forum. Try doing a search of past threads, and you should find a LOT of information. To put it briefly: it is difficult to do a double-major with a MT BFA program. Some schools, including Michigan and Syracuse, tell you it’s possible, but in reality it’s very difficult to accomplish in 4 years.</p>
<p>For example, my D is a junior at Syracuse. Her classes run all day, 5 days a week. Luckily, she has been cast in mainstage and black box shows frequently, so she has rehearsals every evening but Monday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. She is also a member of the honors college, and is allowed to take extra credits. However, with her full schedule she can only take an extra class on Monday evenings. There aren’t that many classes available that only meet one night each week!</p>
