I can’t stand to sit with my back to the restaurant. I figure I was a gambler in a former life and got shot in the back in a saloon after a winning hand.
Or a mafioso. 
If I was, I’d want to have my desk facing the door not for that reason(even modern day ninjas need functional computers/tablets these days like everyone else), but just in case a few armed pirates show up to try proving they’re superior in a fight.
And while I can stock up on some cheap rum…even that’s far more expensive than having the ninjas dispatch them to ensure they have someone to turn to when computer/technology issues occur.
My husband likes to sit facing a tv when we’re eating out (if the place has them) and I like to sit facing a window, and since they usually don’t put the tv’s on the windows, it’s a win win for us Just thought of that because the Thai place we ate lunch at today had soccer going and it was snowing, so we were both entertained when we weren’t talking to each other (it’s hard to talk with a mouth full of scalding noodles).
A great update to the story with both husband and wife talking about the viral video. Nobody too serious and nobody afraid of their spouse. 
Just a normal family dealing with a viral video and quick jumps to judgement.
