<p>Well, I just got officially rejected from Swarthmore…on the same day we’re supposed to hear from Harvard. Somehow I feel that this probably does not bode well.</p>
<p>I haven’t got anything. There’s a random chance that the calls have gone out and the emails have gone out, and every single one of us is on the round two waitlist. Oh joy!</p>

<p>@seattleyj: Just got a letter in the mail. I mean, sure I didn’t even send an update to them until after they made their first wave of waitlist decisions, but it still would have been nice to get a cushion instead of likely being rejected by both on the same day. I was hoping that if/when rejected from Harvard, I could latch on to “there’s still swarthmore” (even though I like Harvard ten times more) and use that to rebuild my spirits before getting rejected by them. Both on same day is just going to suck.</p>
