Looks like nothing new in the last hour or so–we still have heard nothing.

Rough math: 106 (or so) on CC active WL. 27 rejected. Of the remaining 79, 10 are matriculated at Stanford or Princeton (If admitted to H, would they really accept H?), leaving 69 CC active WL.

If this was the old “Deal or No Deal” show, the banker would be getting nervous–the odds are shifting (slithly) to the students’ favor.

Bottom line tonight: No news is good news–“hang it up and see what tomorrow brings”

1) I bet a lot of the people that haven’t responded got rejected and were fed up with the forum (they didn’t care about us enough to tell us haha).

2) Are those just now posting about their status (ie rejected) just getting those notifications or were those from a while ago?

Hello!
Got my rejection email today around 4:00. Headed to Hillsdale.

Hopefully I’ll see some of you in grad school!
Good luck to everyone still waiting.
And finally, thanks to everyone for all the info, help, and encouragement during this process. It’s been an honor.

My school is a New York City public school, but its a little weird because it’s affiliated with Bard College and we do two years of high school and two years of college (graduate with a two year A.A. Degree).

We don’t have finals until early June so there’s no way my grades could be ready :(

I’m waiting too, still haven’t heard yet.
I was accepted April 1st to Cornell, and I’m also on Brown’s wait list by the way.

Is it possible that they will continue contacting students tomorrow, or will we have to wait until June? I really wanted the wait to be over, for better or worse, today.

well their final date for all notifications (they claim) is july 1st so its possible they’ll just wait until your grades are out.
but then again, i dont know anything about how it works for nyc public schools. sorry! i only know for mass prep schools, and even then it might not be all of them

Also, if my final grades will be slightly lower than midterm grades, would you all recommend sending them anyways or just waiting for them to request them from my school?

I haven’t been on this thread much, mostly because I’ve stuck to my Yale loyalties ( ) but I just wanted to let the CC community know that I was rejected off of the waitlist. It was a good thing; I don’t think I would’ve accepted anyways, since I fell in love with Yale when I visited. But for all you lurkers and posters who want to know, those are my results :)

ALSO LOVE THIS QUOTE from a little while back:

AHHH! I havent heard anything, so I deceided to creep this site… very stressful.
my grades closed on the 14th so they have them, so its either regional or Harvard is holding some applications until they know who rejected them.

anywho still waiting in massachusetts as far as i can tell :)

Ynd1234: Good luck on the other waitlists. Good news is that Harvey Mudd is a great school – the name could be better, but it’s one of the best engineering schools in the U.S. and the weather is a lot better than in New England.
