<p>Is it possible you’ve developed an allergy to lanolin, which is found in sheepskin?</p>
<p>I’m still thinking it’s nerves because you can change the compression by wearing socks, both the tightness and the small angles that matter. Not nerve damage but some form of compression. It may well be located somewhere else.</p>
<p>The number of odd things that can affect your nerve is legion. I had weird pain and tingling in my arm which my hand doctor diagnosed only because he had the same thing: a rare viral infection of the nerve junction in the shoulder which he researched because, well, it’s his medical specialty.
