The "I don't have my scores yet" thread

i will be bad for you guys who stay up until 1 (unless you naturally are awake until then) but the scores don’t actually arrive until the morning. ouch.

^Yeah I’m till 1 normally, so it’s not that big of a deal. Just rewatching some classic movies right now.

I’m usually up till 4:45 AM programming and on the internet and whatnot (that good nerdy stuff) so 1 doesn’t even phase me haha it’s like just the beginning of my night.

15 minutes…hopefully…

Programming is to you as Facebook is to me. Yup, I think the reasons why you will probably get a 35 and I a 28 are becoming more and more apparent.

Revive chat?

[Chatango: ACT Dec 2010](<a href=“ACT Dec 2010”>http://actdec.chatango.com/)

Short notice :/

Few more minutes. Still registered…***

lkajdlkajd. i knew they wouldn’t be up at 10pm (pacific). wishful thinking. hopefully by the time i wake up tomorrow they will be there. if not- IMMA BE ****EDDDDDD.

Damn I knew they wouldn’t be up by now, I just had a feeling. Again I hate to say it but I think it’s becoming more and more apparent that my gloomy prediction was correct and we won’t actually get to see our scores for another 2-3 weeks. I’m sorry guys :(

They said more scores would be posted on Wednesday, not on what specific time Wednesday. Don’t be so pessimistic.

When should this standby tester expect her score?

January ^

Should I send my previous ACT score now or wait until I get my Dec ACT score and send?

It depends on what colleges you’re applying to and if you have time to wait to see your score or not. Check each college you want to send to on either college board or their website to see by what date they want the scores received. You can probably wait until 4-5 days before that deadline date to wait to see your score and if it’s not there you’ll have to send in your other ones and this one won’t count unless you requested your score be sent there directly from ACT before they show you your score because it won’t get there on time if you wait to send it less than 4-5 days before the deadline. Until then, you can just wait to see your score if you don’t have any deadline for score submission. Remember the deadline to report scores is different than the application deadline - you should check the score report deadline for each school. Hope that helps.

@Collegebound “I would be happy to leave this thread. I’m not trying to ■■■■■. Some of the responses here were simply upsetting. It all seems rather selfish to me. Life goes on.”

It is hardly selfish to desire a service that we have paid OBSCENE amounts of money for. The college application process is stressful. The standardized testing companies (ACT corp in particular) are manipulative, evil, money-grubbing predators. Whs is rightly enraged. We should all be *ing *ed.

Your comment is very ******y and you need to get a life.

Oh and @SimoHayha
You are extremely obnoxious.

@g0ld3n Thanks, that does help. I decided to go ahead and send both of the ACT scores to the 6 schools that have deadlines before the 3rd of the new year. (Ouch, thank goodness for my part time job)

Unfortunately Wellesley is the only school with a later deadline of 1/15. Maybe I’ll save $10 by then.

@ positveion

Thank you.

8 actually makes some sort of sense, since that is when they open…

well without *****ups the scores usually come out at 1am EST so i’m not sure whether they’ll be out at 8

but yeah its good time to call and yell at them

Wong,

What time did your scores come out last time they were delayed?
