<p>admissions said everyone is in review… status’ dont mean anything anymore… everyone will hear on monday probably</p>
<p>lilchica- its a little bit different for us SCA production kids since (correct me if im wrong) they only accept 50 kids into that specific major, and a lot have heard already just in the CC and Facebook worlds, and there are obviously moreout there… so thats why we’re worried</p>
<p>I’ve heard that the admissions offices are going to be working right up until April 1st. So hold tight. When my daughter got into SCA production, they asked her to write back and tell them if she plans to go. I read that one person who got in decided to go to NYU instead (go figure)! 
So extra spots may open up even after April.</p>
<p>Good luck! We were in your spot a few days ago. We received two recent date changes, the last change 3 days before receiving the acceptance letter.</p>
<p>My status FINALLY changed from ‘received grades’ to ‘in review’ yesterday! I was getting worried.</p>
<p>So yes, they are still going through apps (frantically, at this point).</p>
<p>Just wondering, being new to the board, if my application changed from mid-year grades to in review just yesterday, what does that exactly mean?</p>
<p>The trend in status updates would leave the majority of people here to believe you will receive your acceptance package very soon. Of course, there is no 100% guarantee and being this close to April 1 anything can happen.</p>

<p>Ugh, after two out-of-state rejections from Berkeley and UCLA (got into Davis and Santa Cruz), I’m still hoping that I’ll get something from USC (looking pretty bleak, though). </p>
<p>So this is what happens when you try to apply to uber-competitive schools with a 3.3 W GPA and a 2020 SAT… talk about “karma”.</p>
