The importance of prestige?

<p>Alexandre: It depends on what you do. On law, it matters alot on where you go. (just like you said) For med school, it really doesn’t matter too much…but then again, getting into med school in the first place is pretty tough. </p>

I am not so sure Huskem, at the top 10 Law schools, Medical schools and MBA programs, I’d say anywhere from 50%-80% (depending on the program) come from elite (top 20 private, top 20 LAC and top 10 public) universities. The remaining students come from over 200 universities.

That says a whole lot more about self selection than it does about prestige.</p>
