i don’t know ardmore. how u gonna deal witdat?!?!

eeek…it didn’t really hit me until yesterday that december 14 is soo close!! i think ill stay off cc for the next 8 days…it stresses me outttt
goodluck everyone ;-)

bonne chance

merci beaucoup!!

yeah, living so close to the campus is absolutely tormenting. I just want to drive down there, buy Penn clothes at the bookshop, and just move into the dorms already! If I don’t get in, the campus will just taunt me whenever I come home to visit or when I walk by the place…

dw: I do know ardmore:), live about 5 minutes from it. Nice place…

my friend keeps writing creepy notes in my planner about when i will hear from penn… or myspace messages saying the number of days in different languages… or just calling me and whispering the number like “seven days” from the ring. it’s bizarre.

九天!!! it’s 9 days

[traditional chinese encoding]

£~£~… §A¤]·|¥´¤¤¤å£«? ¤Ó¦n£{… §A¬O¤j³°¤HÁÙ¬O¥xÆW¤H?

£v…
¯u¬O¥L¶ý£x…

§Ú¤w¸g§Ö¨ü¤£¤F¤F

ÁÙ¦³¤E¤Ñ£«… penn ¤Ó¬½£{§a!! §Úの¤Ñªü…
§Ú§ÖºÆ£{

§AÁÙ¦n§a?

yeaaaa… i bought a chinese keyboard so i could… i guess i’m more so mainland, cuz my parents are…

i can’t stand it either… and yes, i do agree it’s kinda crappy that there’s still 9 days… i’m good how are you…

too lazy to respond in chinese*

cool… im doing well… my parents are from taiwan…

just out of curiosity… do you guys even learn

£t£u£v£w … or only pinyin? and also… do you ever use の instead of ªº (just wondering… prolly only use it in taiwan cause of all the japanese influence… thats my guess)?

i mean… im sure you learned simplified… but if you learn simplified… traditional shouldnt be a big deal… and vice versa… to tell you the truth… im pretty bad at reading chinese… haha when i went to ¤¤¤å¾Ç®Õ… my parents used to write like all my §@¤å… and id just copy it down in the little boxes…

¨ì¨º¤@¤Ñ, §A会§ó紧张ªº. 现¦b¤£*n¥h·Q¥¦. wow that was bad. never typing in chinese again.

negen dagen, 九天, neuf jours, neun Tage, εννέα ημέρες
nove giorni, 9 日, 9 일, nove dias, 9 дней, nueve d

i learned my £t£u£v£w when i went to chinese school… i might be more mainland, but i go back to taiwan every summer, so i know what’s up there, i actually kinda like c-pop, which is somewhat embarassing

also… i learned traditional, not simplified, but i prefer simplified…

i hated those boxes where they taught you the word by stroke… grrr

wow all the different languages to express the same thing…
cujoe169: those boxes are soo annoying!! and simplified is sooo much easier.

wow mimisugar… ur chinese a bit rusty? lol

really rusty. i was born in china (mainland). i only went up to like the 3rd grade. give me a break here.

i didn’t even finish the 3rd grade.

oh youve been to ¥xÆW… gotta love it… sooo much good food there… i gained 5 kgs… cause theres just so much to eat… then you have the starbucks loveee the green tea lattes over there (they taste really bad in the US)… and ¬Ã¯]¥¤¯ù (soo cheap compared to the US) and the pastries… wow… no wonder i gained so much weight… ©]¥« kick ass

umm… c-pop… not really a big fan… but you kinda get used to it after you watch channel V and mtv chinese for a month…

©PªN*Û is good… umm… ¼ï°¶¬f is kind of weird… but i think ¤£±o¤£·R is good… ever hear it?

where do you stay in taiwan… this summer was the first i actually stayed (for the entire time) in ¥x¥_ (´º¬ü)… usually i stay in ¤¤Ãc… can you speak ¥x»y? mine is wretched… i can sort of speak it… my parents used to talk about me in taiwanese… but now that ive sort of picked up on it… they cant anymore… heh

I seem to be remembering something about December 10th and finding out…but I don’t know why I would think this. Has anyone else heard that? Or anything? Because I don’t know where I got it from.

these posts look so bizarre with all those crazy symbols. i wish i could speak chinese. or any other language, for that matter. my french classes seem to be taking me nowhere.
