Uhhhh… Yeah.

I can’t remember but you get one or two fu… A year. I can’t remember if your account is frozen.

So yeah… You need to pay attention. Lol

After hours quotes matter too.

What does that mean? or maybe I need another cup of coffee?

That NKE chart is so nice! But I just can’t buy it here. Fortunately TJX has a similar chart.

It means that taxpayers are illegally not paying 380 billion
a year in taxes that they owe.

Thanks dstark. For NKE, won’t AAPL’s iWatch encroach on NKE’s Fitbit and its other watches?

One guy came by yesterday to where I sit and said that the market feels like past times its been up a lot - euphoric and going to drop. What’s the view here?

I think that those are two completely different markets. BTW, Nike’s product is the FuelBand. I have a GPS watch and it’s water resistant and handles radio frequencies for digital scales, heart-rate straps and some other fitness devices that have dedicated radio frequencies and protocols. I don’t think that a Nike Watch will have the same level of durability and functionality as a dedicated fitness/GPS watch. It would make the watch huge.

I don’t see the comment comparing 2013 to 2000.

Interesting info though.

Last Feb. 14,
I wonder if psychmom is still around. Anyhoo, aren’t you glad it’s at 37.xx now from your $32 entry point.

These devices have to have Intel and Microsoft worried. There’s definitely room for improvement but the prices are insane as is the packaging.

Some of those guys are actually more powerful than a smartphone because they don’t have to worry at all about battery consumption. Most also have built in wifi. The Raspberry Pi has gotten a lot of attention in the hobbyist/hackerspace world since it’s about $40 and really customizable. I really wonder if these are the sorts of devices which will lead to the digitalization of every day objects in an effective, inexpensive manner. I’d much rather have my fridge run some form of Android in the background which can communicate with my PC versus some horrible proprietary hardware whose support is dropped six months after the model is released. Anybody with a “Smart TV” can probably relate to this feeling.

These devices cost less than a Microsoft Windows license. They have less functionality (actually more in some areas) but are fine for watching videos, doing email and surfing the web. I imagine that they use a fraction of the power of a PC too.

I couldn’t get the video you linked to work. It kept freezing but I found another video and the Android Mini is amazing. I wonder if there is a way to get a keyboard to work on it. I have a Samsung TV that has wifi but it does not have a keyboard so i really cannot use it. But if the mini has a keyboard I can finally use the big screen TV as a computer.

I doubt the market will go up another 10 percent without having a 5 - 10 percent pullback. That being said, I’m pretty long right now including Japan.

Japan is the best long…
