The jocks and the drama queens

Students review is an anonymous web site that requires no proof that you’re actually a student at a college in order to write a review. I’ve read posts by people who were rejected by a school, and log on to students review to write negative things about the school (as if they were a student there). Also, studies have shown that people are much more likely to write a negative review of a product, service, etc., if they are dissatisfied than they are to write a positive review if they’re satisfied.

For a more accurate representation of student satisfaction, look at freshmen retention rates and overall graduation rates. Middlebury and Carleton have nearly identical freshmen retention rates, and Middlebury’s overall graduation rate is much higher (94% compared to Carleton’s 87%).

The other ridiculous statement that you made concerns weather

If you look up average winter temps and snowfall, Carleton’s winters are very similar to Middlebury’s winters (just a little colder).
