Different strokes for different folks. Whatever floats your boat.

If any of you do not believe me about not applying to Yale. Look at my post history in the thread about “which Ivies did you all apply to”

@Ice, the only reason you have more posts is because the “official” label was attached to your thread. Anyways, it is all about quality not quantity. This thread is just a load of crap. Our thread has several insightful poems/raps

@icestorm

your philosophy is flawed and yale must be a fraud because if numbers are the “who-is-better-test,” harvard surely comes out as the best. more money, more rankings, more students go gratis – more class, more ass, and definitely more status.

So I was writing this poem to post on here for the beauty of yale… and then my mac word decided to stop working and freeze up… Consequently ruining my beautiful work-in-progress… Ahh forget it. I’m going to go fail at AP calc for a while. Please someone come save the Yale thread.

oh, please, guys. You guys hijack our thread and now you want to start an argument? Please leave us be our little happy selves, no need to go all regal on us. (and for us, no need to go all regal on them, either). The issue of Harvard vs. Yale has been discussed many, many times, and in fact there is a thread on this very board about it. If you want to start an argument, go there, and don’t spoil the mood here. kthxbye.

Has anyone looked at Yale’s policy toward AP tests? Apparently they don’t let you get credit for APUSH and many other things. At my school we have to sign up for the tests before decisions come out so if someone were to get into a college that didn’t take credit for a test do they just lose their money? That would be terrible.

wow, wow, wow, limetime. look past the beef. haha, we have no problem with yale at all. i love it. it has more ass than harvard – haha. but for real, it’s just a friendly thing we had going to pass the time. no need to go all serious on us. laugh it off. we both know they’re grade-a schools. everyone’s just chill.

and with that said, let me continue bashing yale on this thread. ain’t got a shred of respect for this joke of an institution, and no, i ain’t worried bout no retribution stating the truth. yale sucks. it’s an uncouth compared to harvard: the goon in the booth.

@ Dbate - same thing at my school, we had to sign up for APs a few weeks ago. For certain APs you can get acceleration credits that let you graduate early. As for AP languages if you get a five you reduce the number of required classes you have to meet the requirement.
There’s a snazzy little link right here :[Criteria for the Award of Acceleration Credit | Freshman Placement and Acceleration | Yale College Programs of Study](<a href=“Yale College”>Yale College)

oh okay. Sorry. I thought you were being serious there. (I’ve seen too many extreme Harvard/Yale arguments, and I was getting very tired of them…I might be getting too sensitive.)

(now I feel all awkward. dammit. >_>; )

I shall be returning to my 1/3 finished Lit paper without another pipsqueak.

The Yale thread cannot be saved, cuz the TTT road has already been paved,
CCers stop posting with these jokes, and spread the love on the Triple T boat,
These mo-fos cant even rap back, on the defensive against a crimson attack
No one can write a poem about Yale’s beauty Spinaugle, quit lying and go back to your d$m game of bogle

So can credit be used to lighten the number of courses you have to take rather than graudate early?

I am not trying to be rude but could y’all leave. It is not funny and this thread was a whole yale regular thing before y’all came.

@Dbate, I don’t think so…

@waitn184 - it’s boggle

Chill out, we were just trying to lighten the mode before decisions. Yes, its boggle, my mistake.

chill out, wo/mans. no need to get salty. haven’t you ever heard of playing around? guess in the end, it was ya’ll who ended up dissen us by turning a blind eye to our extended hand of friendship. i maybe thought that we all could get to know each other a bit – mutual respect. i guess not.

sigh. people.

I actually enjoy writing raps in my spare time, but unfortunately I have already exceeded my “two minute break” by at least eight minutes…

DIE AP CALC DIEEE

i agree with the waitn184

were just using some rhyme
to pass the time

cuz eight days await
until we hear our fate

were getting kinda bored
and this is kinda fun
so Dbate, my friend
chill out son

(and fyi- i applied to both. they’re both great schools. it’s harmless fun)

Ohhhhhhhh, the Yale Thread just got served!!!. Now, … Its On.

i seriously cannot get over how on earth you guys could get upset over a few rhymes written by anonymous posters on a loosey goosey thread on collegeconfidential.com. it made me feel like i was mean.

it’s beyond me.

Haha Yale peeps, you should be doing a lot better than this! Compared to the Harvard infiltrators, you guys seem so uptight and awkward…isn’t it supposed to be the reverse? :D

On the topic of AP credit tho - I don’t want to take intro classes all over again so I have to work hard these last few months for the AP exam. ugh…
