@prateek :O

@No2. Do you consume dairy products and eggs?

That’s the case for carnivores… what about omnivores? & unlike cats, dogs can survive / live healthily on a vegetarian diet. Technically, they’re omnivores, not carnivores.

& to be anal about your whole “dogs without meat will suffer,” “violence for satisfaction”–you can make an entire argument about where the limits of suffering and satisfaction are. It sure is satisfying to those technically-omnivorous dogs to eat meat instead of living on a veggie diet, and people who love meat will suffer quite a bit.

is it even posible to get to post 2000 be4 decisions

Who’s checking Yale first ( if you applied to multiple Ivies)?

@ limetime: LMAO they do… ah well, the last will and testament of an Ivy reject ![]()
On a lighter note, I did just get into Tufts which was a nice start to Super Tuesday (6 decisions in one day is RIDICULOUS).
45 minutes… until the R-word.
or the W-word if I’m lucky.

proceeds to go insane, and then wipe cold, clammy hands on pants

I’m nervous. Like. really nervous. OH MY GOD

dont ask me that

i’ll do the inky pinky ponkey thing

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO CHECK FIRST OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
I HAVE THE 5 IVIES I APPLIED TO’S ADMISSIONS DECISION-RECEIVING SITES OPEN on different tabs and I don’t know which to check first!
Maybe Cornell? SInce I prefer Williams and I got deferred there?
Yale will be last, because it’s the one I care about most.

Man, I’m freaking out. I was so calm last night…

i had to read a lot of pages to get caught up! i was on here an hour ago!!!

I feel like such a loser having all my decision posts ready and such, all my tabs open, emails to teachers ready, etc etc

This feeling will be emphasized by my rejection

My argument of ‘morality’ is meant to apply to human beings.

@ _Silence: If I don’t know under what standards the milk/eggs have been produced, I won’t.

Egglands (google’em) is famed specifically for not treating chickens inhumanely, and certain organic milk brands actually treat their cows well.

It’s a shame that there’s such variability in what constitutes “organic/human” legally.

I blame it on PETA being absolutely whacko.

i shall speak my secret
i admit my sin
i applied to EIGHT
god will punish me :/

Or reward you for being gutsy.

i doubt
10char

I think humans are omnivores. They can eat a lot, but they can’t exclude everything.
While it wasn’t nature’s plan that we eat chease and drink milk(human bodies have started to form lactase rather recently(about 10.000 years ago I believe), a vegan diet is not for humans. Vegetarian is fine(if you know what you’re doing) but vegan diets lack essential vitamins.

i am checking

cornell->dartmouth->harvard->Yale

prateek: Eight?! Wow, man, good luck. I applied to five and thought THAT was suicide!
I have all my tabs open and ready to go for decision time.
This
Is
Insane
That
After 5 months of waiting
I will know
in 35 minutes.

I’m officially freaking out.
All calmness just went down the drain, 100%.

And I’m refusing to be anthropocentric by saying that humans are just animals, you can’t expect to hold us to a higher plane of morality just because we’re special-er than other animals or something.

meh whatever. I’ll eat meat. I may even end up eating the same species as some of my pets (doubt it though), but psychologically I will never be able to eat my pets even after they die of natural causes.

& as for applying to a lotta colleges: I applied to all the Ivies =P
I’m not Lukas Zbylut, though.

& hawt dang you guys post fast…

silence speaks sense in an hour of insanity

^ that’s like p!nk’s song sober…

“the quiet scares me cuz it speaks the truth”
