Here is some background information on the hunger striker from the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Nothing says oppressed than coming from a family who makes more in one year than the typical American makes in their lifetime.

His 2014 compensation was $8.4 million, according to regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.”

luckily it is not how things work in the real world. some people blindly follow and some people inquire and come to conclusions. a lesson that used to be taught in college. not so much anymore!

my friend you have reached your conclusion…like I said before show us one little bit of proof. you have not done that…I guess there is none to offer. so once again please show those who need proof more than someone saying something supposedly happened…one bit of evidence. has anyone made a statement to the police? a photo of the swastika, footage from a security camera in the dorm hallway??anything??
and it gets better the student president who claims he was harassed with racial epithets from a pick up truck (no proof that I have seen) I just read that he tweeted the KKK was on campus to stay away from the windows and that he was working with the MUPD,state troopers and national guard …after the school responded there is no threat do not spread rumors he tweeted he was misinformed. (yeah he was misinformed that he was working with all those law enforcement agencies when he put that creepy false info out) just a mistake.(sarcasm) if he made up that nonsense what other things has he made up for attention? (or let me guess did the false rumor tweet and him working with the law enforcement agencies not actually happen too he never said that??)

I urge you to be part of the solution not part of the problem! the solution is looking for the truth…not letting a narrative dictate what you want to believe. let the sunshine and expose the truth…surely that is what you want?
if the truth is these things happened than I support the students , if not they have embarrassed themselves and ruined the reputation of the school for a long time to come!
The media is (finally?) hunting down the details on the “poopsticka”, we’ll learn soon enough if it happen or not. And as Zo listed above, the student president has destroyed his own credibility with that “working with the national guard” comment…
Someone must have told him that he was working with the national guard…perhaps a state trooper…
It’s becoming a meme on right-wing sites that there is “no evidence” of the fecal swastika at Missouri. The truth is that there is no evidence that has been released to the public. Why should there be? From previous reports, there is clearly a criminal investigation going on, which would be highly unlikely if there was no swastika in the first place. Now, I think it’s likely that this was the work of a disturbed individual (interestingly, there was somebody with a similar MO at Yale), and it may or may not have anything to do with anti-Semitism, really. It’s always a challenging question how much a college administration should respond to an incident like this.
The thing is, Hunt, is that there have been more than a few hoaxes, so reasonable people of either persuasion can reasonably be skeptical, particularly after the left-wing meme of church burnings in the last couple of weeks that turned out to be something entirely different.
Zo you are not my friend . You do not understand the meaning of proof. I suggest you call your family attorney. Maybe he or she can explain to you. There is plenty of proof. You just refuse to acknowledge it. As I said with blacks there are different standards applied. That is very sad. Black lives matter at least to me.
Tiger1307, what proof are you referring to? I’m confident that you are very informed on the facts - much more so than I – and I would appreciate it if you would share your knowledge.
@hunt, I agree with pretty much everything in your last post, specifically that the absence of proof (in the public domain) is not proof of absence . But do we know if there is a criminal investigation going on? The only thing I have seen is that the police referred the reporter from the Federalist to the public records office?

I have said time and time again…athletics do not belong as part of college in the 21st century. school should be about learning, obtaining knowledge ,skills and learning how to think. any money put towards athletics is money that could be put towards a new science lab, more academic scholarships and other things. I know my position is not popular and schools like michigan or albama make lots of $$$$ from their sports…still athletics should be phased out in my opinion. (as I am aware my opinion is not worth much…but I still have one)
Actually I am not very informed of the facts but I will try to be more so in the future. There are percipient witness statements at least which are considered proof under all rules of evidence in the United States. The police are investigating so there may be more. A Bradley Becker has pleaded guilty recently to conduct regarding zwatstikas on the campus. Zoosermom I hope this helps
The most basic of questions - if real, why has no one come forward to say he / she cleaned the symbol off the wall and confirms seeing it? Surely, if real, said janitor or similar person exists. Until then, darn sure looks like a hoax.
And the KKK rumor - another self-confessed hoax.
And some flag on some vehicle issue - sounds as if no one except the reporting person saw it. Again, really sounds like hoax.
Theses students are literally losing all credibility in what they say and how they react to just hearing or seeing something they might think have occurred, while showing no ability to rationally distinguish between when the sky is falling down and when it is not. Sure, have your wish list, but at least let your actions be be grounded in reality, not propelled by fake scenarios.

as of this moment nobody has been charged or arrested,. the two situations are not connected.
any student doing stuff like this needs to be expelled but one situation is not connected to the other.
