<p>Yeah, let me spend tens of thouands of dollars on my kids every year so they can go to an elitist European boarding school. This way, they get to expereince their formative years only under the “parenting” supervision of other elitist European kids. Contact us back when they hit their teen-age years and let us know how that worked out for you.</p>
<p>Other have said it here before. This is the parents’ fault, plain and simple. The shame should be on them (I’m looking at you, Mr and Mrs. Paris Hilton’s parents!) Reminds me of the quote from PARENTHOOD: “You need a license to drive, a license to be a doctor or lawyer. Man, you even need a license to FISH!. But they’ll let anyone become a parent…” (forgive me if I mis-quoted the exact stement).</p>
<p>I actually saw part of that episode of Wife Swap, including the part where they blithely revealed that her parents had been doing all of her homework for years, including major projects, reports, and essays. I was wondering whether there would be any consequences at school for the “beauty queen.” I don’t see how they can ignore it.</p>
<p>The father of the beauty queen was unbelievably vile in the segments I saw. For example, he addressed the other woman as “you feminist pig.” Whoa!</p>
