I’m BBGG’s son and I just got into the business school this semester. The first set of classes you listed are part of the old curriculum and the second set is the new curriculum, and as a transfer into Marshall or a student in Marshall, you have the choice of which curriculum you would like to follow. Having said that, no, ECON-203 will not fulfill the prerequisite for 251, as ECON-203 is either macro or micro (I can’t remember) and 251 is something entirely different. Anyways, although you may not have all the prerequisites Marshall says you need to get into their school, you should still apply even though Marshall says they are required for you to transfer. I myself applied to Marshall this semester without having taken Statistics (MATH 218), but I still got in because of an A in MATH 118 and a high GPA. So, essentially, if your track record looks good, Marshall will assume you will do well in these classes regardless of if you have not taken them yet and may still admit you. Anyways, good luck.
