The New Official 2011 Wait for AP Scores Thread

I said this earlier and I’ll say it again - unless College Board pushes the AP grading back a week earlier, scores will never be released early again. There are simply too many exams to upload into the computers. And with the testing schedule being pushed back later for next year, scores will definitely be out July 1st and not a day earlier.

Of course, this will become moot if scores are released online next year.

What if Trevor isnt real, just a made up name to make us feel like we are dealing with a human?

@neekzg: Yes, but when newer games come out, all of a sudden, I see older kids(teens) buying them and playing them all over again. It could be just my area. I admit that I occasionally stop by pokemon websites to check out the new ones when I’m bored, and end up deeply disappointed.

Wait, what? Charmander’s awesome! He was always my starter and my baby. Your cousin doesn’t know what a Charmander is? Shame! TT_TT

@snalemail
I wouldn’t care much. He probably is real, but all I care about are the scores

last time i baked, it was to make my girlfriend a birthday cake. it took me 3 hours, counting clean up and having to bake each layer one by one on account of a crap oven… but it felt like 6. :frowning: how about i come over, and watch you bake? that’ll make the time go by faster for the both of us cuz you’ll be baking and i’ll be watching you :D… yeah I’ve gone insane… again. this routinely happens to me when I’m this close to hearing my scores.

@snalemail: Then I feel like I’ve been ■■■■■■■ on. But at least he acts as a medium for us to channel our anger into. Right? Or CB would always resort to creating a cute mascot, but that would be odd O_O.

guys… how’d we end up talking about pokemon? it just occurred to me. I’m 19 years old, what the hell am i doing with my life? :)

Snalemail: No, you can look Trevor Packer up online. He is the vice president of collegeboard.

It really depends on what you put in the brownies.

@silonthesofa
You’re still a kid, you’re free to like pokemon :)

Seriously though, my older brother and his friends are popular at the University of Florida, and nobody knows they all went to the grand opening of some new Pokemon game :p

@silonthesofa: Pokemon’s old, but adults still play Mario :D.

I adore the new generation, actually. The black and white generation is fantastic, and oshawott if my love<3 (besides staryu, of course). I’ve hear of those conspiracies but I don’t buy it. They just based the area of black and white off of New York to give a modern feel to it, but it’s not like a replica. It’s people looking for an argument. Although, I didn’t know his height was 9’11? That’s clever, in a not-so-clever-and-actually-kinda-creepy way.
I can’t understand why you (neekzg) could say it doesn’t identify with our generation? It’s a really fun game, and a really great time killer when I’m not studying for AP’s/SAT’s/ACT’s/Plays/Rehersals/etc/etc/etc. Frankly, I think it is great for our generation, because at this point, you can go really competitive at it. In my school, pokemon is pretty major actually - especially in the nerd-crew. My friends and I used to play fairly consistently in all of our classes at the end of the year!

Is Trev Trev not a cute mascot?

Charizard won ign’s poll for most popular pokemon. I think the Charmander family is doing alright.

While we wait, can any of you guys please help me:

A rectangular tunnel is cut through a mountain side.

-The upper vertices of the rectangle are on the circle x^2 y^2= 400.

-A cross section area (made by drawing a line from the upper right vertex to the midpoint on the base of the rectangle) is given by 400 sin 2 theta.

What are the dimensions of this tunnel that maximize its cross sectional area?

a.) 14,142 by 28.2384
b.) 0.823 by 1.463
c.) 0.785 by 1.57
d.) 12.113 by 24.226

This is an incredibly entertaining thread lol

I’m a kid when it’s convenient for the government but an adult all other times. okay, things I can do now that I couldn’t do before I was legal. drink. smoke. gamble. clubs. But what can’t I do? can’t rent a car. can’t get a credit card. can hardly even have my own car because my insurance is so high. the Her Majesty’s government has screwed me once again :frowning: I better get my revenge upon these people in the next few hours in the form of my AP score or else…

Argh. I went out to do something and was HOPING I’d come home and not hear Richard’s voice. Haha! Fat chance.

But seriously. WHEN?

@silonthesofa
What do you mean “Her Majesty’s government”? Are you from the UK?

Anyone wanna call them? I’ve literally called them 2847361847275829572 times.
