<p>I noticed this column as the most emailed NY Times article today. The author says that there is now a new life stages for young adults and older adults. Instead of childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age, there are now six stages: childhood, adolescence, odyssey, adulthood, active retirement, and old age. Young people now go through a transition period before settling down to financial independence, permanent career, marriage, and children.
