-Organized a can drive, candy drive, book drive, and soup kitchen trip with about 30 members participating in each
-Webmaster of the site of the religious organization
-Will do a medical research internship at Univ. of Michigan this summer between 11th and 12th grade (already found it)
-Went to MMSS (a med-math summer program at Univ. of MI)
-The usuals: Spanish Honor Society, Biology Olympiad, Linguistics Club, Quiz Bowl

APs: APCS - 5, AP Calc: 5, AP Chem: 4, AP Eng: 4, AP Stat:4, AP Lit:3

Spent 2 years in a foreign army after high school. Trained as a Recon spec and wrote software in free time for our systems. Won Batallion Commander of the Month once.

Started an internet company while in the army that made a html5 document sharing platform.

Hired a week after leaving the army at a tech startup’s lead programmer. Currently being poached to work at another startup… Life is going nuts these days.

As for high school achievements, was on my school’s robotics team as the lead programmer. Won a couple regionals with them.

Won a district programming competition.

Just got accepted to the University of Illinois for computer science today. The only school that can top that is Cal! I’ve been out of high school for three years. How do I fare?

I have applied as a junior transfer physics major from an OOS CC. (But I did graduate high school in CA so if admitted I get in-state tuition)

(72 semester units: Calc 1-3, Diff-EQ, Linear Algebra, Java, Gen Chem 1&2, O Chem 1, Biology 1, Philosophy, English 1&2, Italian 1, Calc-based Physics 1&2, Anthropology, Microeconomics)

L&S Requirements (Berkeley): Finished except I will only have 1 semester instead of 2 semesters of a foreign language. I made a note that I found out about the requirement too late in order to complete it by the time I transfer but I did take 2 years of Spanish in hs.

PreReqs: 9/10

I’m a junior, so I have a year before applying, but I figured, why not start early?

My weighted GPA is 4.04
Unweighted is 3.93
UCGPA is 3.93 (I don’t know if I calculated that correctly)

I am unfortunately a OOS resident who wants to get into their engineering program

I got a 2130 on my SATs, but I’m taking them in June and hoping to get a 2200+

Guys, I am getting the idea that everyone is calculating their UC GPA and their unweighted GPA in different ways. (THEY CANT BE THE SAME) There is no way to chance you if we don’t have the right numbers. Can someone please post their website that calculates this so we can have some unity? Thanks!
