The *Official* I got beaten by the October 6 SAT Thread

i did not like that cr about the boat and the ocean…

The boat and the ocean one was actually pretty good, but the other ones killed me. I think i had a CR experimental since I had way too many CR sections compared to math.

Hey, if I didn’t answer the last 5 math questions, but I’m 95% sure I got all the others correct, how much do think that will affect my grade?
By the way, it was a Math IIC Subject test…

probably 800.

Can you look at the threads in the SAT subject tests sub-forum and tell us what the answers to some of the questions are? =]

junior here…i had 4 maths…hoping the first one was experimental, wasn’t it much harder than the regular practice ones? glad to hear i wasn’t the only one who found those two questions hard (the system of equations and the other one)

that boat one… they were paralyzed by their imminent doom no? The other questions seemed easy. Side of triangle you use law of sine (im sure there were easier ways to do it but thats how i did it). How did u get the area of the shaded triangle? I left that and the systems wrong. And I hope the math section with like r^st=100 or w/e was the experimental

The section with the student response… that felt too easy. Like the plugging in the equation for the bunny? Btw depth… i hope that means how much water was in the cylinder?

Ugh. Math sucked. I probably got 10 wrong, omitted 2. Raw score?

That’s wrong, I think. The actual answer is something along the lines of distressed but determined to perservere.

mj93, that’s a different question from the one you’re refering to. but yeah, i put “paralyzed by their imminent doom.” it was the only one that made senseee.

yeah i think artstar is right. i put paralyzed for one question and determined to persevere for another one. was anyone confused about the grandmother one? what was “more silence” supposed to indicate?

i put new contacts this morning before taking the test and i couldnt see **** lol cause my eyes werent used to new ones lol and i just couldnt see shiet and had to keep blinking to keep my focus lol
i did bad lol

grandmother? ***? And er… damnit. so i got atleast 1 math wrong and omitted 2, and knowing the sat, thats a 750. And thats the best i can do without making any more mistakes. damn. i thought the reading was pretty easy, you could usually limit down to 1 choice with process of elimination. i remember there were like 2 weird questions form the physics one tho

maybe it was experimental. the grandmother one was about the granddaughter having to write letters for her grandmother and stuff. i was a little confused about the physics one actually. what was the tone?

wi****l. i dont think i had the grandmother one

ok i wrote w i s t f u l i duno why thats censored

math n writing were cake

CR was another story…

i had a first experimental on someone keeping journal entries, and the kid next ot me kept clicking on his calculator really fast for his math section…it TOTALLY screwed me over

the other CRs were pretty good though, the vocab on the last CR was cake, the other vocabs were o.k., and the passages were pretty interesting in my opinion

cr and writing were cake lol. math was… i duno i think i got 1 of the hard ones wrong, i omited 2, and i didnt get the depth one. i think thast it tho

but ya i agree. the proctor next door talked so damn loud, i coudlnt concentrate when he gave instructions

yeah i put wist ful too. (its censored because of the s t f u)

i thought the CRs were hard in general. it seemed harder than any of the practice tests i had taken…it made me sad.

i couldnt concentrate on the first small passage. the crazy aunt one. otherwise i think i did good on the CRs
