Ok so number 50. The distance to the disk was 225 miles which is 1188000 feet. Draw a triangle with the side adjacent to the angle 0.05 degrees is 1188000 feet. Find the length of the other side by doing the tangent inverse of 0.05 degrees and multiply it by 1188000 feet. Then subtract the radius from that answer. I do not remember the radius nor do I remember the answer choices so A might not be the correct one.</p>

<p>if you graph lnx and e^-x in your calculator you can find that the intersect is at x = 1.3098</p>
<p>then you just have to do ln1.3098 which equals 0.27 which was one of the answer choices</p>

<p>Convert miles to feet, multiply by the tangent of 0.05, and then subtract the 50 from the center of the disk to the edge.</p>
