<p>Hi Coachmike- I’m happy to help! My son received the Oasis link with his 3/11 update which is where he got admitted to the school first (LAS-undecided), and it was still there when his status updated on 3/19, which must have been when SCA decided to admit him to film.</p>

<p>Congrats lifelikemusic!! So, it would seem that acceptances were sent out 19th/20th… with California and western states receiving word on Saturday and today. I’m on the east coast, so I’m hoping to hear something tomorrow… oi vey.</p>
<p>From what I’ve heard several people from the LA area were accepted on Saturday. Congratulations LifeLikeMusic and I hope to see you next year along with all of you who will be certainly receiving acceptances in the next couple of days. </p>

<p>unefemme-that’s what I have…and this is totally an assumption, but i think the update is a good sign (of getting acceptance into usc), but having the link also signifies that you got into your first choice…the reason i assume (i may be waaayy off) is i saw how somebody had a recent update with no link and got accepted into usc and his 2nd choice…then he got the link a few days later and got into his first choice…</p>
<p>also there is a link between production majors…all around 3/17-3/19…i am thinking that usc may have made a decision as a whole (hopefully positive) and then production was making their decisions those days and made a final decision…the people that got the link probably were admitted to SCA…i don’t know just a random thought…</p>
<p>i am also assuming that usc has to “OK” the applicant before the school can accept him/her…of course i may be waaaaaaaayyyyyyy off…just making a hypothesis ;)</p>
