<p>The poem that became “America the Beautiful” was written by Katharine Lee Bates, English professor–and president–of Wellesley. The man who wrote the music was an organist, not a professor. So you’ll have to come up with another clue. </p>
<p>(I don’t get the multi-tasking thing…who is known for being particularly single-minded? Inquiring minds want to know! )</p>

ACK! She was a visiting prof at Colorado College when she wrote the poem. And now single-mindedness makes perfect sense. </p>
