I noticed the same thing!

I noticed the same thing!

This is my kind of Olympic athlete [Hannah’s Gold](http://www.hannahsgold.com/) This gold medal snow boarder embodies what I want from our American athletes.

“two attractive blondes and one less attractive girl”

Whoa! Does the Olympics have a “thing” about blondes? I was thinking these athletes all seem so healthy looking (dah! That’s what happens when you exercise!). Then I noticed something even more common among them: so many women are blondes: Lindsay Vonn-DH, Noelle Pikus-Pace–skeleton, Natalie Darwitz-hockey, Lindsey-snowboard cross, Tanish Belbin - Ice Dancer, Kikkan Randall-CC

So that’s why I never got into the Olympics!

Women’s super combined is over.

So why did NBC keep “talking up” Lindsay Vonn when I knew already that she didn’t finish? Why not Julie Mancuso?

Fang Jr and I are falling over laughing that the mighty Canadian hockey team can’t beat the Swiss in regulation.

I’m a feminist so hate to say this, but the women’s half-pipe is BORING after seeing what the men did last night.

^^^ agree, especially since so many fell too. I was just saying the same thing here. Actually, I was thinking the long skating program is lonnggggg too. Maybe I’m tired of these Olympics!

Technically the people who were doing the coverage didn’t know that she was going to wipe out. Bob Costas didn’t want to tell the viewers straight out that Lindsay had fallen.

Endurance is such a factor in the long skating program. Many of these guys have just lost their legs near the end. Only the top ones seem in shape enough to pull it off.

Way to go, Evan!!

Wow, Evan Lysacek was wonderful just now! I really hope he can beat Plushenko, but without a quad, I don’t think Evan can do it.
(Did anyone else think that cowlick that flew up in the air during his spins made him look a little like Ed Grimley, though?
)

The quad isn’t everything. I don’t think Evan will have any regrets even if he doesn’t win, that is the best that he can skate.

The cowlick made me think of Alfalfa. I must be older than you, patsmom!

I wasn’t feeling Evan’s program. I agree the long programs just feel L O N G.

I never like the long programs as much as the shorts, but I quite enjoyed Evan’s. If Plushenko skates as he did in the short, it’s going to be a very close call.

^^ Now I know why he uses so much gel ;)

Let’s go, Johnny boy!

I like the way Johnny uses his arms. They aren’t just flailing around. They are expressive.

We are rooting for Evan!!!

EVAN WINS GOLD!!! My daughter and I are going CRAZY for Evan! He did such an amazing job on the ice tonight! We love Evan!
