Haha kebree, yer right. What SAT IIs did u take?

Thanks, Panthers7, I appreciate that very much. I play hockey and golf mostly, the basketball was for fun on our trip down. Hockey is too competitive at Yale; they get “Junior A” kids, which is a league basically just below minors but allows the kids to retain the amateur status. I could play golf for Yale, but I am very interested in rowing, I think that would be an awesome experience.

What sport are you gonna play?

I took Writing (800), World History (800), and Lit (740)
My SAT I breakdown was 800V/720M
Oh, and my art site is:
http://artattack.to/display.php?artist=1000001376

I’ve tried some political cartoons, but they wouldn’t be the kind my hometown newspaper would publish, haha.

well i am a football “recruit” but I was thinking about trying out for the baseball team also? currently i play both and i love both, but last year when i hurt my knee, the baseball team stopped showing interest. :frowning: oh well, i certainly am happy to be a recruit of any kind !! have you contacted the crew or golf coaches?!

holyyyy Kebree, you’re AWESOME too!!! wow, I’m so jealous, I wish I had artistic ability…I usually resort to stick figures

wow yea that’s great! how’d you learn to draw like that?

That’s awesome, Panthers7. What position in football?

I talked some with the golf coach and the golf coaches at Harvard and Dartmouth, but I am unsure about exactly how much golf will help. I kinda got behind on the process, but we’ll see. I also broke my ankle, (go to the “thread about nothing” for the elaborate story.) Since I broke my ankle I missed all the fall senior golf season, which hurt my recruting chances a lot.

Kebree, my cartoons offend many as well! My school is a rich, upper class, private prep school, and it is very conservative/Republican. Not exactly the most conducive place for some of my cartoons. Yourart is sick too!! I like the Jimmy Page one and “Late Afternoon” a lot. You have a real talent!

Kebree, if you apply to Princeton you should send them yer incredible painting of their campus… They would love it!!

Thanks! I began drawing when I could hold a pencil (I used to draw all over the walls in our house as a toddler, heh). So I guess it was a so-called “born” thing.

EDIT: Colorado, I did those paintings so I could send scans of them to Princeton =) Funny plan; I hope it works, haha. I did an essay on my “most meaningful activity” and embedded scans of my work all through the essay…strange, I know. I should do some of Yale in case Princeton defers/rejects me.

No not at all, thats a good idea.

For the Yale supplement essay, I did political cartooning as my most meaningful activity. On the actual page I drew a small caricature of myself in my fortress of political books with my computer and pens and paper. I drew myself wearing a Yale baseball hat also haha.

haha, that’s great! That makes me feel better…everyone kept saying to me, “Wow…that’s different. Risky, too. I hope they like it…”

Weird note: I’m obsessed with politics i, too. It’s a good thing we’re applying to different schools or they might have decided to just admit one of us, haha.

colorado, in hs i played qb and punter. at yale i was recruited as a punter, and i hope i will get the opportunity to punt for yale :)

Haha yah. Kebree, Wait I thought you were applying to Yale?

Only if Princeton ED defers/rejects me
I loved Yale, too…still, I liked aspects of Princeton better. But it was close, and I’d love to attend either one.

Which side of the political spectrum do you lean, if you don’t mind my asking?
