The question everyone has on their mind.

i tell you what: i write the way i want and stay out of this “snippy” grammar nazi forum and all of u live happily ever after :D… further objections to how i spell, write, sleep, eat, think, dress, look can be PM-ed to me because i’m not applying to caltech and i’m not visiting this thread anymore. i came here to give a fellow bangladeshi a piece of my mind for misrepresenting my country; my job is done. oh yeah, my hidden motive was to offend a lot of people with my "…"s and "u"s… and make people calculate how many "you"s i could have spelled in the time it takes me to put a few dots… now that i’ve got caught, i’m running for my life.

so far, i’ve sported a pretty “ok-all-this-is-ridiculous” attitude about the whole “u” and “you” thing. seriously though, it’s sad that some of us lack the decency to let go of others’ habits. if you think i have a bad habit, you’re entitled to your opinion as much as i am entitled to spell “you” and “u” or give lots of … however, there’s no need to blow up this issue because i have hardly offended anyone with my dots and u-s, or made my english complicated to the point of being incomprehensible. a lot of people in these forums do not use capital letters after periods, do not punctuate properly, use a bit of shorthand (not exceeding it to the point where noone can understand what’s being said). my english has also been fairly easy to understand. i didn’t expect to find people being so petty about how someone types (especially when it’s completely understandable, or else you guys wouldn’t have been able to reply to my messages). and seriously, if it gets to all of you so much, go appeal to CC and ask them to ban the use of u and …s. i will be happy to comply to a rule stating that.

i’ve had enough of this absolutely juvenile argument. if you hate the way i type, skip any posts you come across that are written by me. and instead of imparting typing advice, go advise the people who come here to find out about college admissions related stuff.
