<p>so i got the application status of my journalism application: i got an interview! 
but i am DEFINITELY not relieved because my interview is on MONDAY! X_X. and lets just say that interviews are NOT my forte…
TIPS anyone!?</p>
<p>yeah i was really nervous the second part of the day and basically everyone had checked their emails and gotten an interview…i was so nervous in history and lit. yeah.</p>
<p>Just be yourself. Don’t try and impersonate someone else. Avoid the usual “um,” “yeah,” and the like. You’ll do fine.</p>
<p>Yeah. I’ve found that there isn’t a great way to prepare for interview questions because if you overprepare, you end up sounding really phony and rehearsed.</p>
<p>I can only feel like this thread is doomed to die too early. We can’t seem to pick it back up! (we did for a short while but then it died again). 
Grrrrrr…I wish bm1 would come back! :(</p>
<p>I agree Celeb…but I think it’s the AP testing coming up though…we’re all freaked and just don’t spend as much time chatting.</p>

<p>yeah. everybody is studying and has finally realized that they should cut back on the endless hours of CCing :P. but im sure everyone will be happily posting away to glory after AP tests are over! :)</p>
<p>Yeah…I can’t wait until the exams are over. TWO WEEKS OF THIS STUFF!!! TWO WHOLE WEEKS!!!</p>

<p>Today I completely blew off ap studying…went with my friend and bought a beautiful dress for the wedding that’s the same night as PROM . . . but its my duty to go to the wedding . . </p>
<p>bought the jewelry and shoes (but the dress is a little too long and since there will be a lotta dancing, gotta find something with even higher heels :rolleyes: )</p>
<p>And then I tried it on with my friend and her sis and we practiced our dancing ‘skills’ . . . it’s going to be soo much fun! CAN’T WAIT, seriously, **** ap studying now haha</p>
<p>My friend and I have to do a presentation in chem honors, but he has AP testing and I have a field trip, so we will be absent for the first two days of presentations :P. </p>
<p>My mom is going to a wedding too! haah. We have to go somewhere to get her a dress to wear. Its a day wedding, so she needs some nice light colored formal wear YAY shopping!!</p>
<p>I have never been to a wedding before.</p>
<p>AP testing sucks. I might have to go to a different school to take one of my exams, too. Ugh.</p>
<p>I have only been to one wedding, and that when my aunt got married when I was six. :)</p>

<p>no weddings here either :(. At this rate the first one I’ll be at is my own.</p>
<p>I’ve been to two weddings…maybe three of four, but most was when I was a toddler. So I don’t remember them, but I did go to one this summer.</p>
<p>Yay. I was elected Associated Student Body Executive Treasurer today. Woot.</p>
<p>Then again, I ran unopposed. No one wanted to challenge me. I guess it’s a good thing. =)</p>
<p>We have a coucil election doing the same…
I was selected to become a mentor for those students not achieving well and take on a single case and attempt to help him out of grade doldrums. It should prove interesting.</p>
