I prithee, do get one. I have no idea what you look like so had to imagine all along
.

Yeah, I have this stick figure in my mind labeled as Charles. It’s very disturbing.

Ohh…I love the Duke online community site. I think that the whole thing is an awesome idea to get students to know each other ahead of time.

But the myspace site has a whole lot more going on though.

my essay X_X

“In another sense, the sense of rebellion in Miltons epic corresponds to the sense of religious division within Europe and England between the traditional Catholics and the numerous Protestant sets that sprung up since the Reformation.”

that’s what I get for writing each paragraph by bits and pieces over the span of 3 weeks :(. Time for some serious proofreading methinks.

Spending time on CC has really benefited me =] Now I know what a crapshoot the Ivies are, unless you’ve invented microwaves and cured cancer. Oh, and paid for Harvard’s swimming pool.

I’ve made such WONDERFUL friends <3

I’ve learned forum talk, such as ‘thread’, ‘bump’, ‘IMO’, and etcetera.

I’ve learned SO MUCH about SAT prep, college admissions, UC’s, extracurricular activities, and other stuff that I feel I could be a college counselor :)

I’ve learned many new words

And most of all, I’ve found a home away from home. <333

:p

Diana, I still don’t know what state you live in, so I couldn’t look you up!

Hahaha…Charles, you are a smart man lol. So because of that, I’m not going to make this easy on you.

You’re going to have to look back on the hair thread to figure that out lol.

goes off to look on the hair thread

I know where Diana lives! =)

purrli, are you staying in Suzhou? I just found out that I’ll be at the four-star Suzhou Hotel from June 29th to June 30th. If you are going to be in the city, the address is 345 Shi Quan St.

http://www.sinohotel.com/hotel/hotel.html?hid=493

Charles…where do YOU live?

kat -
I’ll be staying at my uncle’s house, and I’m not sure where that is at the moment ^_^, so I guess I’ll see you at the famous Garden more like
? Or we’ll e-mail each other when we get there (when I have more of a clue what’s going on
[my email is in my facebook].

13,000th post in the bag !
:D

Congrats Celeb!!!

Congratulations, Celebrian!

purrli: E-mail might be a little bit of a problem for me. I am not planning on bringing a laptop (I wanted to though). During my tour, I will be flying domestically within China, so I must pack light (no more than 44 lbs.) or else I’ll have to pay for overweight luggage fees. So bringing a laptop is out of the question for me. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get a hold of a computer there. I am currently trying to get a SIM card from China so that my cell phone can function at a cheaper rate. Maybe calling will work.

okay :). wouldn’t a 4-star hotel have computers? or any internet cafes nearby? but calling is fine too. I’ll find out more info and get back to you asap.

'grats, celeb :D. I can’t imagine…13,000…

Congrats celeb!!

Wow purrli/kchen thats really, really exciting- getting to meet each other. :)

Charles…I can’t find you on the D community pages lol.

Oh Diana, I live in West Virginia. Did you see my page? I havent written a bio yet.

yep :), I can’t wait.

It’s funny, how my mum freaks out that I’m going to prom with a white guy, but she’s perfectly fine when I tell her ‘I’m going to meet this person whom I only talked to online in Suzhou’…

I saw your page, and you should at least write a bio on it…I mean, no bio :/
