lol .

The City of Shaker Heights maintains a public high school too large and with too few computers to allow all to have a school e-mail, so I believe the only way to solicit an invitation is to do so by mouth.

Is there someone at your school that has a facebook? I can invite you, but it won’t help because even if you attempt to register, they will inform you that you will have to be invited by someone who attends the same school as you do.

celeb: I added you!

an oxygen ;)

AIM is indirectly proportional to CC posts which is indirectly proportional to social life.

…
this is like rehab i swear.
so how was evryone’s day? =\ =/ =|

my father deleted AIM from my computer. i am now re-installing it. sarah, i have not your strength.

lol, my dad doesn’t even know how to type. even if i told him how to delete it, it’d probably take him a good amount of time just to find the add or remove programs list.

Martha, you were online last time I had it . . . so he deleted it like …today?

I don’t even think I have the strength, I’m just making myself till June 3rd. If it doesn’t pay off when i get the score report then I know it’s not the AIM, even though aim is detrimental I’m sure.

There AIM is directly proportional to social life. Not true. :p

Haha, actually I thought of that. It is in a way, hooking up and then seducing them via aim? or meeting many people via aim, and if you have a likeable personality online, people may start to get attached, and then you meet up? . . .

Or maybe even during college, shy people usually aren’t that shy online, so they show what’s underneath and make better friends that way. .

I was using my brother’s computer (mine had been confiscated).

It was interesting, though close dancing felt weird at first with people I didn’t know ;). And apparently I’ll be seeing my picture in the paper soon because some reporter took my picture and then asked the others for my name xD. I wouldn’t want to do it again though - for some reason I’m sick of it right now.

Looking forward to college formals :)?

Reporters at prom?

At the informal photo session prior to prom.

oh, okay. that’s better.

lol. I suppose so.
What was your prom theme?

I don’t think we had one , but it was really nice to see everyone dressed up in tuxes and vests :).

Haha. I guess they still looked preppy though. :)

but good-lookingly so :). As expected there were a ton of people not from my school there - one of my friends even imported her date from New Jersey .

hey - looks who’s talking - both your dream school (Pton) and current school (Duke) are renowned for preppiness  :p.

I wasn’t aware that Duke was considered as preppy as Princeton. lol

I have read that there’s quite a southern “gentile” air there, so people are generally pretty well-dressed even for class. And lots of parties and frats too ;). The people from my school who went in the past were definitely the preppy-geeks - the nonconformist geeks tend to prefer schools like Columbia or Brown in the northeast.

I guess that’s what I usually expect of Massachusetts high-schoolers. I kind of attribute that to the fact that there are quite a number of boarding schools in New England, which I suppose are more strict about formal dress codes, so people to dress more preppy.
