DAILY RITUAL? Hahaha. Funny. We have a French exchange student at my school. It’s so cool to see how some of these international students come without any proficiency in English, and by the end of the year, it’s no biggie to them anymore.

How I very productively wasted my first 3 days of vacation:

It looks awesome! :)

Wow, purrli, it’s so pretty!

Thanks =), though my hands are hurting right now.

when vacation arrives, the first things i shall do will be:

-scream in joy , throw my backpack on the ground and stomp on it. then i will pick it up and proceed to my locker as if nothing just happened.
-go to lunch with my friends
-come home and watch hours and hours and hours of TV
-make voodoo dolls of people i hate and wont have to see until august
-eat icecream and smirk at my sister who has 8 days of school left
-spend HOURS and HOURS on CC.

Maybe you should bring it with you to Duke :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :p

Maybe ;), though it tends to fall apart easily (the last two I gave away as presents were smashed within a few months :().

If you give it to me, purrli, I promise that it won’t get smashed. ;)

I can make a mini (310-piece) version for you since I’ll be seeing you (hopefully!) this summer  :).

I’ve finally uploaded a few prom pictures onto facebook =).

Awesome ‘project’ purrli, that’s real skill =)

We have a german exchange student, currently touring the US. . probably somewhere in NY. She’ll be back for graduation though.

Today we had our senior assembly and it was really sad :frowning:
My friends next to me started crying really hard, there were a lot of red eyes around . . yesterday all I did was sign sign sign the seniors’ yearbooks in case I never see them again. Missed lunch and everything just to sign, probably the most writing I’ve done all year! And GRR, I still need to track down some people since this is one of the few memories people have 20 years from now you know? I’ll see them again on June 2nd though, the real graduation with the val speeches and everthing … and then there’s this “Project Graduation” the night after so people don’t get drunk, it’s “alcohol-free”, and seniors can invite someone so I’ll go with my best friend … I’m gonna try not to stay too late though considering SAT IIs the next day! And usually people don’t leave till 6 am =</p>

Anisha have fun, so you’re staying in state this summeR? I think I will too . . man while I’m typing this, the teachers are laughing SO HARD in the room next door, I didn’t know it made them that happy that seniors are gone haha . . . they’re all gone on the senior picnic and then that’s it for them! No more grade school EVER . . i’m kinda jealous, but in a good way =)

Hmm anyway this is kinda long as I’m just waiting for this period to end so I can intrude on another class heh heh . . life in school is so lazy right now . .

Hey Purrli…yeah you definitally have to make me one of those in college. Or at least show me how.

How did you do that btw?

Maybe start a crafts club at Duke? :)

It does make sense I should make one for you Dukies - after all I’ll be seeing you guys in August, and beside I doubt I’ll ever have time to make these again (it takes 30 seconds to fold each piece; and 337 sheets to make a mini/519 for a full size) :). I just finished the one for KChen this morning (picture coming soon)… I guess making origami swans is a good cure for CC addiction, heh.

And juniors - maybe if you would enroll at Duke I’ll give you one too. ;)

w00t I’m done…
<a href=“ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs”>ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs;

It’s basically making a base-ring with these default triangular pieces (preferably somewhat stiff craft paper), then stack them on top of each other, leaving spaces for wings, head, etc :o.

on a random note, I think I’d like to graduate from CC with this perfect number of posts :).

I’m finally almost done with school. 1 more day.

Ohh wow Purrli…that’s incredibly beautiful :).

Oh…now i really want one :o.

YAAAY I’m done with school!

Today was our senior assembly. They needed someone to play the music for the procession (when they walk down the aisle and everything), so they asked me at the last minute. Haha. I played for a Senior Recognition Night last night and the assembly today, and I will be playing for the Baccalaureate Mass next Thursday. We had the moving up ceremonies (all classes move up one grade), where the classes get to run to the seats of the class above them. Too bad I couldn’t participate since I was up on stage. It was quite crazy and loud. Now, everyone is officially one class up. The seniors have left for the annual Graduation Night at Disneyland. Tomorrow is PLAY DAY! Astrojumps, free popcorn and cotton candy, radio station, yearbook signing, class council elections… this is the life. =)

So today was quite an embarrassing day for me. In AP Biology, the teacher had invited his student that graduated last year to come back and talk about her research (she was majoring in biology). So I’m watching the presentation, and I look a little to my left to see a thin line a few inches away from my face. I realized that it was a spider web line, and I guess it was dangling from the ceiling. I became baffled, I suppose, because I kept staring at it. Then I wondered where it led to. My eyes followed the little line, and it trailed down to the surface of the desk behind me. Just right then, I see it, a spider moving all eight legs, upside down. I FREAKED OUT. I yelped and moved my desk to the right. Everyone turned around. Oh, was I embarrassed. I was like, “Sorry, sorry, there was a spider web, and I - sorry, I just - sorry - freaked out a little, and - sorry. I didn’t mean to - sorry. Go on. Go on. Sorry. Sorry.” Gosh, I must’ve said “sorry” a million times, I swear… everyone started laughing at me. Ugh. I buried my head in my hands after that. Hahaha. I made such a fool of myself in my last class of junior year. Wonderful. ;)

Wait, purrli, are you serious? I was just kidding, really. Haha. I mean, if you really are, then thanks, I guess…

RAHHHHHHHHH kchen you lucky girl. We still have next week and then the week after that (final exams week). Basically, we get to blow our brains out studying and stressing before we end school.

Yup :), if I can meet up with you in Suzhou, that is.

I can probably make another few in the 89 days left before school starts, Di :D. Do you like orange, red, pink, or blue?
