JETS (junior engineering technical society) is the only science club at my school. We mostly train for the TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude Math and Science) competition and we go on occasional field trips too.

bleh i would’ve liked to see a french sat2 then!

but it shows you have a strong passion in the science, given the resources of your school

mit- reach (it’s reachable but you’ll have to tiptoe, plan to kick ass on your essay)
caltech- high reach (science passion not as strong as would have hoped for this school, scores are about average for the standard caltech applicant)
stanford- reach (see mit)

ah i forgot to mention that i come from a french family, so its assumed im going to do well at french. but thx for the feedback

^ That’s all the more reason to take it. I hear that it’s hard though.

Stupak: Thanks for the chances! These were helpful, so Princeton is more EC-focused than other schools (could be why top students at my school tend to have better luck with H & Y than P…) & thanks for realizing the AP irony I have for an MIT-wannabee. Sorry for not responding before, I saw yours this morning. As long as Duke, Columbia & Cornell are decent…

I’m not sure I understand the advantages of this thread’s method of doing over the way it’s being done normally. From what I can see, you are asking that multiple people (as many as fifty or more) place their chances statistics here, and then we pick the one we like to rate and do so all on the same thread?

Seems very confusing to me. I think I’ll stick to the regular one thread per individual methods. Then I at least known who is talking about who–and what their statistics are.

P.S. I do like the format you gave people for listing their stats when asking for chances, though.

People probably just wanted to try something different. The real problem with a thread like this is that there are far more ppl asking about chances than those willing to evaluate them.
