The Sleep Thread

i hate dreaming in black and white…it makes me feel weird

sleeeeeep!! ahh i love sleep. i love when i get an awesome dream and then i wake up and the rest of the day progresses in a…happy-post dream kind of mood :). harhar.
as for sleeping in class…i can always count on spanish to catch up on some shut-eye after latenight cramming for math or chem.

anybody have techniques for sleeping in class and not being detected by the teacher? (as in comfortable ways)

haha. i sit near the back, and i always just prop myself up on one elbow and cover my eyes with my hand…

Ha my natural sleep cycle is just terrible. Lay in bed from midnight to 4am. Half-sleep from 4-6:30am. Wake up.

Hooray for melatonin!

I could use some sleep right now.

"better than no dream…
the day is so much better when you know you can escape the real world at night.

i don’t get dreams if I get less than 7 hours sleep…it’s depressing…"

I only remember my dreams when I have like 4 hours of sleep and am woken up by my alarm clock.

And whenever I know I have to get up early to finish work, my body wakes up like an hour and a half before it’s actually time to get up and doesn’t want to go back to sleep because I guess when i’m half asleep I really dread the loud sound of the alarm and the jolt feeling it gives you so in a semi-subconscious state I guess I wake myself up before time to actually get up. :frowning: I don’t get nearly enough sleep.

Sleep is awesome! It’s something I don’t usually get enough of. However, I do like the feeling of waking up at sunrise. It gives me the feeling that I have plenty of time to do things that day since I can get an early start.

Dreams! Dreams are awesome! But I only remember them if I get like 7 hours of sleep, like ladyinred said.

Just before Christmas Break, I had work and tons of homework/projects/tests, and in 3 days I’d gotten combined 11 hours of sleep. When I woke up on the third day, I think I was hallucinating immediately after awakening… but after 2 or 3 minutes I was fine. I think I was still half-dreaming.

sleeping is extreme! Especially when I wake up early on a saturday or something thinking I have to go to school and I realize its saturday so i can just go back to sleep! Greatest feeling in the world X-D

what do you guys do when you just can’t go to sleep even though you are really tired? The night before my AP English Language and Composition exam I literally had NO sleep. Not even 10 minutes! I didn’t study that night or anything… I just layed in bed bored out of my mind praying I would snooze off…

I wish I had a fluffyfluff pillow to sleep on right now…

just kidding :)

:p thanx!..

yay for sleeeeeeep!

I can never fall asleep before 12:30 AM these days. Anybody know of any good ways to fall asleep?s

Count sheep. Hahaha.

Nowadays, I sleep even later than I usually do. Usually, it`s around 300AM - 1100 PM.

I wish I could live on eight hours of sleep. Usually I only get 6 hours on school days and on weekends I feel sleepy even if I get 10 hours. :(

Psh. Eight hours? This is only for break. Typical sleep routine? 200 AM - 700 AM.

That’s only 5 hours!

I KNOW. I`m a junior, go figure. I miss freshman year & sophomore year. I always slept around 1100 PM - 1200 AM.

Psh. I wish I could sleep for four hours and be satisfied.

You think I
m satisfied? I have a friend who
s always religiously slept at 9 PM every night ever since she was little. She`s a junior, and she still gets her nine hours of sleep every night.

Lucky her. If I didn’t post on forums, I’d probably get 30 min to an hour more sleep every night. :p
