<p>^^ I don’t know. After hearing so many people applying EA or ED, everywhere to “try to get a better chance,” I realized something seemed terribly wrong when I saw 90% of my friends applying early to a school. It didn’t seem to make sense when so many qualified people aim for the same decision cycle – there were just too many people with too high of stats to make it “easier” to get in with.</p>
<p>At first, I was really mad that I didn’t push myself to finish my app in time for Stanford SCEA. After looking at this, I am sort of relieved but mostly shocked and scared now for RD. I really don’t know what to expect. My condolences truly go out to those who got rejected - many of you guys seriously did not deserve that.</p>
<p>In addition, the early e-mail was a shock too. I was waiting for Monday to hear from everyone, but this is just surprising to hear they released it 3 days early.</p>
