The Top Three myths about cornell

Myth - there’s nothing to do in Ithaca. (I found it a charming place, personally.)

Bad weather story: my second and last year at Cornell was particularly snowy. There was snow on the ground right after Thanksgiving, and there was four inches of snow on the ground at the end of the Grateful Dead show at Barton Hall in May, after classes had ended for the year. People were joking that year about transferring to California schools; I actually did so, for unrelated reasons.

There have been other years with barely any snow for the entire winter. (My parents live about an hour away from Ithaca, and I get personal weather reports from them frequently.)
