Did they send another email since the one asking to reconfirm interest and stay on waitlist (due april 17)
I would like to seek your advice on calling the admission office. Regarding LOCI, the applicant should send it himself. When making the call to ask for an update on the waitlist, should the applicant or his parent make the call?
Is it too late to send another update to schools? I recently got a new report and it’s far better and I was wondering if i should send it in
While there is no harm, you may want to reach out to the schools and ask if their WL is still active and if they might admit additional students over the summer, reiterating that you wouldbe interested. You can say you would like to update your fiile.
It is not unusual for schools to effectively close their WL without informing students who accepted WL offers that they have done so. From their side, they had essentially said “we don’t have a spot for you now. Make other plans. If something opens up, we’ll let you know.” Nothing has opened.
