If you want negativity, look at the International Students board. Guy with three 800’s on SAT 2 tests, 2350 SAT, many awards and extracurriculars that compete, and first thing people say? “Your 11th grade GPA is too low, your chances are bleak”.
May be the reality, but holy crap that is depressing…
