ok then in that case, it’ll be the program in the college.

I think i’m beginning to believe that i should apply regular instead of early because it’s like what the other post said.

There are more qualified people during ED, as opposed to RD. The conflicting part is when you apply ED, Penn sees your love and interest.

However, I guess that same interest can be shown in the essay when applying RD…

But then how effective can an essay full of interest in Penn be when given during ED? hmm…

Yeah, because of this, I talk to myself a lot. It’s not good for my health.

going back to the original question, i’m in a very similar situation as you are; My SAT scores, especially the verbal sections are very low according to the upenn standards. Having said that i would recommend taking the ACT, as many people find either the SAT or ACT easier for them. My ACT scores turned out to be quite a bit better than my SAT scores, even in the dreaded verbal sections. It’s nice to have the ACTs to fall back on even if they aren’t as common as the SATs.

Yeah, and if I happen to be possessed and do well on the SAT (not that I naturally won’t…it’s just that I’m in my “discouraged” phase) the ACT can…bring it up, or maybe serve as support for my grades.

About the ED vs. RD, there is a chance of being deferred as well! Gah. Waitlisted! Oh the horror!!
