Things everyone's crazy about... that do not interest you

This is so interesting! You see several and say, “oh yes I agree!” Then you see some and you say , “WHAT?! That’s my most favorite thing in the world!!”

British royalty period.

Broadway musicals with a few exceptions (Jesus Christ Superstar, Hamilton, Spamalot)

Agree about singing competitions, casinos, Disneyworld, Kardashians, geneology (I date back to Thomas Payne of Yarmouth 1639 on my Mother’s side woohoo!)

The fact that children are considered not smart if they don’t do well in math

Some of the things on these lists I like or might enjoy and others I am just indifferent to, but those are the stuff of other threads.

Actually, the math thing is probably just a vent, I don’t think too many other people actually like that…

I have the most fun with this! I don’t delve into my DNA or like to gamble at all.
But I love to find out WHY other people DO like their hobbies even if I’ve no interest in them myself.
It’s fun to see what make people tick! And I’m ailways thinking “maybe I’m missing something and just don’t see it!”.

My dad is the total gardener at heart and I like to look at plants but hate to tend them. But I would never shut down a discussion about something that he totally loves. His appreciation of plants rubs off on me and I think I’m better for it.

I love to meet somebody truly enthusiastic about something that sparks their fire whether or not I’m interested.

Fantasy books or movies. So I may be the only person on the planet who has not seen “Game of Thrones” or any of the “Lord of the Rings” movies.

@romanigypsyeyes , I’m interested in all my ancestors. Some were here early on, and some arrived due to famine or hardship. I know I’m in no way superior because one 7th great grandfather did this or that, it just makes American history real to me. Here is the point in time when this person whom I can relate to became documentable. It’s fun.

Double post

(As an aside @romanigypsyeyes --“The earliest inhabitants of Jamestown practiced cannibalism.”
They resorted to cannibalism. They didn’t practice it.)

Action adventure movies.

@JustTryHarder -

Yeah, DOGS, can’t stand 'em, even the ones that belong to my family.

Yep, dogs. I grew up with them, loved them , but can’t put up with the owners who want to put them onto mygrocery cart. Yuck. Think about it, do you want your lettuce resting where some other person had thier Dog’s butt.
