Things I like about George W. Bush

HH, my comment was in reply to golani’s post about thinking that there were “a lot” of people who would believe that ‘film’. My comment had nothing to do with whether or not it was responsible to post a link.

golani, there may indeed be some students who frequent CC who would believe the ridiculous, and well-refuted, claims in loose change, but, as I said, I can’t imagine any parent here, regardless of their political leanings, believing that tripe. Anyone in their right mind would dismiss what was included in that ‘documentary’. There is never any proof given, no evidence presented, no rational argument, and most of all, the question of WHY? is never addressed. I’m no fan of GWB, by any stretch of the imagination, but I find it extremely offensive for anyone to think that he and his cohorts cooked up the tragedy that happened on 9/11. I lost loved ones that day and the blame belongs with the 19 hijackers and those who did the planning, not with the current resident of the Oval Office.

This may be the site kluge mentioned:

without naming names, there are plenty of people who post here that talk about the most ridiculous things concerning the US govt ant not just the bush govt

and there are plenty of people who would never think that the current administration is an imcompetant one in the history of US government.

it really is not. You obvisouly dont no anything about history or what is going on now, if u feel this is the most incompetent administration ever. A few yrs ago u were all screaming about the economy and how bad it is and how bush ran it amuck, now for some reason uve shut up about the economy? But i care to hear why u think we are in the worst economic position since the great depression becasue im sure u guys can think up of a good reason, perhaps u will quote some article by an obscure economist writing in an obscure online newspaper

I thought this thread was about things we like about George W. Bush. If you don’t have something nice to say, try another thread.

Dubya is OG. Thats why I like him.

How about this obscure economist:

The burden is more on those who are in college today rather than those who are 10 years younger. Good Luck.

Here’s a link to the screw loose change video: http://www.lolloosechange.co.nr/

Actually, I think it would be great if every college student in America were to watch “Loose Change” and “Screw Loose Change”. Young people tend to be very uncritical of the information they receive, especially if it comes from a source they are predisposed to believe. With many young people it is their parents; then their peers take a role; eventually they come to accept information disseminated to them through whichever forms of mass media they are familiar with. Watching these two videos should give them some food for thought.

I don’t think the modifier young is necessary

I dont think it is necessary to watch something so damn stupid like loose change. Why not watch movies denyign the holocaust or something while we are at it. Movies like that should be dismissed, and people who believe in them should be labeled as idiots

^Not subtle, but true. Having an ‘open’ mind is one of the dumbest thing ever.
