I am forever irritated at the person who invented and people who install those hand blow dryers in public restrooms. Honestly, it sounds like a 747 is landing in the middle of the restroom. They continue to roar long after the person has walked out. I never use them and would rather shake my hands dry than listen to that horrendous uproar.
Restaurant restrooms used to have towelettes placed on the vanity for drying your hands. You could touch up your makeup and hair in peace. Last evening I saw an elderly woman literally running out of the restroom holding one ear. I would not be surprised if the sound of the multiple hand dryers going at once pierced the poor woman’s eardrum. How is this progress?
