Things with the same name but very different meanings

In a Rhode Island. A ice cream, milk shake is called a Cabinet. That throws people off a bit.

And going to the Packy is a trip to the local liquor store.

@jym626 I think it has to do with the alternative meaning of the name Dick, and another synonym that sounds like Fallis.

There was a little Vietnamese restaurant here called Pho King. Did someone not know what the proper pronunciation of pho would make it? IDK, but one day a banner showed up and covered the old name and replaced it with a new name.

I really, really, really, want a copy of one of their old menus!

In Keane, New Hampshire, a restaurant went to battle over their name, Pho Keane Great. They won.

Their website has apparently changed, but years ago a church in Cumming, Georgia (perhaps the 1st Presbyterian but I don’t remember) had a website called cummingfirst dot com.
