Think before you eat sushi

<p>My my, aren’t they diversified, and into big ventures. No wonder they don’t just hand out flowers at the airport these days.</p>

<p>Has anyone had sushi on Thanksgiving eve? I had it once. I was guest of a couple coming from Japan. I did not like the sake much but I liked the capelin (I learned this new word today by looking at the web site in one of the above posts).</p>

<p>Moon sushi is apparently on every coast… Not just inland. It is location independent. That article says theyemploy hundreds, from Alaska to Mass.</p>

He sells thru his own distribution network, most of which is through specific delivery/distribution services. I found out about Moons business through my chef friend. He does not only sell to sushi restaurants, he sells to lots of main stream restaurants who have fish on the menu.
I really enjoyed my trips to the fish market with my friend Yoshi. Not only did he know the fish mongers, but knew what boats they bought from and where the best catches in the Pacific were . It was like an Ichthyology lecture with a tasty pay off. Rev Moons fish can and should be avoided.</p>

<p>Wow, I’m impressed! Actually, I’m not that much of a sweet shrimp fan. My wife usually eats the raw bodies and gives me the fried heads.</p>

<p>Love sushi, but I rarely eat it. Biggest concern, IMO, is the high mercury levels found in tuna which is my favorite sushi fish. Mercury poisoning is a problem for anyone but especially pregnant women and children.</p>

<p>Scallops are also sometimes round pieces of shark. Gee, what is this world coming to?</p>

<p>Been eating sashimi for over 40 years. Never had a problem and I am not going to stop. Best diet food.</p>

<p>I love sushi. We live in a place where there are lots of sushi restaurants some good, some fantastic. In fact I was one of the few oncology patients allowed to eat sushi during treatment. (Probably because I couldn’t keep anything else down.) Did I say I love sushi?</p>
