My husband is on board with it “if that’s what you want”. He’s already got it on his calendar to be there to baby me a bit. Oh to go braless and be comfortable. Running and aerobics without discomfort!
I’m pretty much assuming that insurance will not pay for any of the surgery since I’m not huge. I do have the shoulder dents and rashes though. No back pain which seems to be a driving force in insurance paying.
I was also an okay size when I was younger, although I’d have been smaller given the choice. Putting on some weight has for sure contributed to my breast size, but I don’t look as good now if I’m as skinny as I was then. I would like to lose about 10 pounds, but not more than that.
Update - I did it 2 months ago! I am very, very pleased. If I have any regrets at all, it is that I didn’t go smaller! I’m probably a full B - small C now. Like another poster said, it wasn’t really painful but more annoying for a while. It took quite a while to feel natural again. I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe since everything fits so nicely now. Thanks to everyone who took the time to post.
YEA!!! And if you lose any weight you’ll still lose there, if you want to go smaller. I became a marathon runner after I had mine done, and I was like “Where did they go?!?!?” Of course, they were perfect, but when you’re used to being so big, a full B or C felt non-existent. Glad you’re happy with the results.
