Thinking about moving to another state to be with my grandma

i passed calculus but that isn’t enough to tell my abilities or what i should do. i don’t think anyone here knows what i have gone through. i potentially plan to take only one class in the spring and my reason for this is because i can do that since i got a scholarship to take one class from the student leadership academy that i can only use then, don’t want to use financial aid for spring if i can’t handle a full load right now, and I want this to be a trial period to see what i can do.

for financial aid there are concerns. my Pell grant LEU is 137% which makes my remaining lifetime eligibility 463%, I have used two semesters of state grants, and have not taken out federal loans (which i want to avoid as much as i can). while i may have enough to still graduate in my remaining classes, time, and financial aid to finish my degree i still really worry about me using it up. i don’t think Lifetime eligibility for aid is warned about as much as other things like SAP and i’m not worried about that part because i’m in good standing. I don’t know if anyone can say anything else on this other than buckling down so i can graduate and only beating me up on my past mistakes (it’s a waste of time because i cannot change the past and can only learn from my mistakes). my thoughts were to use my scholarship for spring for one class since i can only use it then for one class and not using financial aid to take other classes, potentially plan on applying for scholarships so i can take summer classes if my spring class goes well (last summer when i took trig i was able to get one from a society i was in), and for next academic year either only use state aid in my current state to pay for school or use scholarships if i apply for lots of them or taking the year off so i can be more prepared to return to college in the future when i’m more focused and can be eligible for in state tuition in my grandmas state if i decide to move there. these are just some thoughts to keep a lid on my financial aid eligibility.

worst case scenario is that i do run out of my Pell grant or other form of financial aid to pay for school down the road, would need a plan B, and this can’t be appealed even if there were extenuating circumstances. usually when students get to this point they pay out of pocket or get private loans but that doesn’t sound very pleasant. From this point on, would the best plan be the get the best grades I can at my current school and whatever schools I end up transferring to so I could potentially be eligible for scholarships, work for a company that provides tution reimbursement or assistance, and join the military if I desire and become eligible for the GI bill? There are tons of scholarships out there and institutional aid as well.

These problems shouldn’t stop me from moving forward in a positive direction.
